June 2015: An open dialogue forum on the topic of artist residencies will be held as part of the “VISIT 2010-2015” exhibition at the Kunstmuseum Bochum. Interviewees and guests will discuss established residency projects in North Rhine-Westphalia as well as possible formats and content for a ‘RuhrResidenz’ residency programme. Speakers will include Dr. Barbara Könches (Kunststiftung NRW), Katja Aßmann (Urbane Künste Ruhr), Idan Hayosh (artist, artist in residence, Kunsthaus Essen), Axel Braun (artist, VISIT fellow of the RWE Foundation), Dr. Uwe Schramm (CEO, Kunsthaus Essen, spokesperson, KunstVereineRuhr) and Daniela Berglehn for VISIT.
