According to the teachings of the New Age cult of pyramid energy, pyramid-shaped containers influence the people and objects inside them in a positive way. In Russia, state-supported experiments are being conducted on this under the direction of the former defense minister and pyramid energy researcher Alexander Golod. In the year 2000, on the initiative of the energy corporation Gazprom, a 22-meter-high pyramid was built near the Aksarayskiy gas condensate field, which - allegedly - resulted in a significant reduction in environmental damage caused by the corporation's derivatives.
